Collaboration with Insurance Companies
Aélia Assurances SA works in partnership with a range of carefully selected insurance companies to identify and offer its clients the most suitable solutions for their needs.
Aélia Assurances SA receives commission or other forms of remuneration from these insurance companies. However, such payments have no influence on recommendations made to clients: the company’s top priority remains the client’s best interests and the relevance of the solutions proposed.


Prevention of Conflicts of Interest

Aélia Assurances SA takes all necessary measures to prevent conflicts of interest. Should a conflict nevertheless arise despite these precautions, the client will be informed in a transparent manner.


Remuneration and Commissions
The services offered by Aélia (advice, comparative analysis, preparation of offers, policy management, etc.) are not billed directly to the client. Aélia is remunerated by insurance companies in the form of commission or brokerage fees, in line with market practice. The amount of such remuneration varies according to the services provided.


Upon request, Aélia will inform clients of the ranges within which such commissions are received.


Data Protection
All personal data, including sensitive information, is treated confidentially. Data processing is carried out in accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and is limited to the following purposes:
• Execution of the brokerage mandate
• Service improvement (based on anonymised data)
Data is retained only for the time necessary to fulfil legal and contractual obligations. Clients have the right to access their data held by Aélia at any time.


Training and Professional Qualifications
Aélia’s staff responsible for providing advice and brokerage services possess the required professional skills and knowledge. In accordance with Article 43 of the Insurance Supervision Act (ISA), they undergo initial and ongoing training to maintain and enhance their expertise.

Liability and Complaints
Aélia is liable for any damage caused by fault, negligence, or incorrect information provided by its advisers. Professional liability insurance covers any potential damage resulting from a breach of the duty of care.
